Our Story

For the past 30 years, on a Sunday in May, the people of Staines and the surrounding area have come together for a ten kilometre road race.

Some do it to challenge themselves, some do it to raise vital funds for their chosen charity. Whatever the reason, a great atmosphere is produced by the runners and spectators alike.

The perfect recipe - run a race - generate funds. We are proud that just in the past 12 years we have raised over £90,000 for local causes. Visit the Charity page to see where the money goes.

The course is flat, making it ideal for the experienced club runner to post that magical personal best. The fastest posted time is under 30 minutes! The event is also perfect for the beginner.

The entries for 2026 went on sale at midnight on 1st February and were all taken 21 hours later. If you still want to enter you may be lucky to get a transferred entry. Visit Transfer of entry
