The Staines 10K was originally created to not only have a fast flat competitive course but also provide much needed cash to local deserving causes. Since 2011 the event has raised over £90,000 for local charities.

Due to the generosity of our sponsors whose contributions almost cover the events overheads, the majority of the entry fees goes directly to the local charities. The small Staines 10K Committee and the team of marshals, are all volunteers.

Other donations are received from runners paying a little extra via the entry form, and from the pre and post race massage.
